Researching and designing together

The graduation year is the crown on your study; the year in which you independently bear responsibility for your classes, and the year in which you work as much as possible on your professional growth by working on your graduation research, such as: educational pedagogical action (OPH research), a subject didactic design research (VDO), a Educational Design Research (EDR) or another variant. Such a graduation year is demanding and inspiring at the same time, also for all colleagues involved around you.

Supporting structure in the PLG

Learning together in a learning group takes on its own form and emphasis in the graduation phase. Where in year three you still worked together with the WPB in forms of co-teaching, you are now completely in the lead yourself. In the training school, a natural team forms around you, consisting of WPB, SO, IDE, APV teacher, subject didactic supervisor, coach, section buddies and fellow graduates and/or starting teachers.

You experience the support structure of the PLG Working together on professional growth. In this PLG you work on your graduation research together with other (prospective) teachers. Models and protocols from design thinking are used for this.

Intervision for starting teachers

In addition, most Trion training schools also offer intervision programs for starting teachers. Of course you are also part of that. Central to these processes are individual coaching with video feedback), theme meetings and intervision moments.
